Judith “Judy” Lynnette Embry, 70-formally of Richmond, Kentucky, entered into life on July 15th, 1951, and transition into the afterlife on Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Alex and Roselia Embry, sister Delores ‘DD” Embry-Dunn, nieces Michelle Dabney and Lisa Donigan, and nephew Jimmy Embry. She is survived by her children, Byron and Robyn A. Embry. She leaves to cherish her 7 precious grandkids, Jared Harris, Jordyn, Alexis “Lexi”, Kegan & Jaxon Roark, and Bryce & Trenton Embry. She is survived by her sisters Sara Huguely, Sandra Harris, Maxine (Roger)Hinton, Alice(JD)Harris, Elaine Embry and brother Alex Embry Jr., along with a host of her beloved nieces and nephews, and great nieces & great nephews…AND great, great nieces & nephews. Judy gave her life to the Lord at a young age as a member of First Baptist Church in Richmond, Kentucky. She was a proud alumnus of Madison High School (MHS) where she proudly donned the first elected, Black Royal Purple prom queen. After graduating MHS, Judy retired from Richmond Police Department after 33 years of diligent service. She loved her work and her RPD work family. She will truly be missed. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12th from 10-12. The funeral will follow immediately after. We are comforted in knowing God makes no mistakes and He allowed another beautiful angel to come home. We love you always.
