Mr. Howard Cleveland Jackson

Howard Cleveland Jackson was born February 18, 1948. He was the son of the late James A. Jackson and Gertrude Shelby Jackson. He was a native of Fayette County. He attended Dunbar High School and a Vietnam Army Veteran. Howard was a member of Winburn Drive Baptist Church. He really enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be remembered for his smile, outgoing personality, being a part of family gatherings, and dancing the night away with his beautiful wife. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Rev. J. D. Jackson, Landis Jackson, and Lee Morris Jackson; two sisters, Lillie Mae Smithers, and Betty Ann Sparks. Howard leaves to cherish his loving wife of 48 years, Dorothy Jackson; two sons, Anthony Dwayne Jackson, Aaron Jarel Jackson; a daughter, Germaine Beuviere; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, George Isaac (Mary) Jackson, Ronnie Jackson, and Joe Owens; two sisters, Dorothy Clark, and Mary Esther (John Henry) Burdette; two uncles, Rev. Howard (Loretta) Jackson and Frank (Joquetta) Jackson; seven brothers-in-law, Abdul S. Saleem, Sherman Smith, Eugene Smith, Ernest (Stacy) Smith, James (Betty) Smith, Jerry Smith, and Larry Smith; four sisters-in-law, Teresa Smith, Willa (Clarence) Winn, Trudi Kelsey, and Zumaria (Farqan) Hakeem; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
