Mr. Charlie Lee Cates

Charlie Lee Cates was born January 30, 1977 in Fresno, California to Robert Rhodarbarger and the late Janet Cates. Charlie was married for 18 years, to the love of his life, Shayna Baker Cates. Because of his love for her, He and Shayna moved to Kentucky in 2002 with their three oldest children to be closer to Shayna's mother, Joy. He tried to make the happiest home for her and their children. Charlie was a dedicated father who enjoyed cooking and entertaining with his family and many friends. He was open, friendly and quick to help out a neighbor or friend. He enjoyed having a house full of children and often had many of the neighborhood children visiting. Even with a limited education, he was always looking for a way to earn more money so he could provide a better home and future for his wife and children. Besides his father and wife, he leaves to cherish his memory six children, Michael, Janet, Gage, Jada, Conner, and Minnie; sisters, Marlene Rhodarbarger, Katrina Rhodarbarger and Christina Rhodarbarger; Joy Baker; sister-in-law, Tasha Baker; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
