Mrs Betty Campbell Williams

Betty Campbell Williams was born on September 2, 1939, to the late John and Eleanor Hardy Campbell. She passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the age of 81, after a brief illness. Betty confessed her hope in Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Consolidated Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She graduated from the original Dunbar High School with the Class of 1958. She later went to what’s now called cosmetology school at Madam C.J. Walker’s Lelia College of Beauty Culture in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a member of Beautician Chapter 4 in Kentucky. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Thomas Williams, Sr.; two of her sisters, Gertrude Biggers and Johnetta Campbell; and a life-long friend, Dora M. Sanford. Betty leaves to cherish her memory, her two sons, Roy T Williams, Jr. and Terry F. (Erica) Williams of Loganville, GA; two grandchildren, Terry “TJ” Williams, Jr. and Terrica Williams; two sisters, Lena (Walter) Snodgrass and Eleanor Elaine Mason; two brothers, Hardy (Emma) Campbell and Jimmy (Debbie) Campbell; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews and long-time friends.
