Mr. Whitney LaMont Combs

Whitney LaMont Combs was born February 22, 1989 to Sonya and Phillip Combs. He was a native of Lexington, KY. As a child, he attended Breckinridge Elementary School, Crawford Middle School and graduated from Henry Clay High School. He played in the P.A.L. Football League and was coached by his mother in t-ball. Whitney enjoyed helping the community by fixing cars with his twin brother, father, uncle and late grandfather. He loved restoring classic cars back to their original condition, his favorite car was an 86 Cutlass Supreme. Whitney confessed hope in Christ at the age of seven. He was baptized and became a member of Imani Baptist Church. He was a member of the Imani Youth Achievers and Rites of Passage. Whitney is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Gertrude and Harry Williams; paternal grandparents, Kelly and Emma Combs; a brother, Phillips (Chancellor) Smith; two uncles, Pete Combs and Gary Combs; and a special cousin, Denino Harris. Besides his parents, he will be loving missed his children, Samaya Lynn Combs and Kahlil Omari Robertson-Combs; twin brother, Britney Combs; other brothers, David Hill-Combs and Cameron J. Womack; sisters Shantacola Womack, Lamiya Rodriquez, and Sharon Harris-Combs; aunts, Tonya V. Harris, H. Elaine (Fred) Harris-Mathis, Rhonda “Chubby” Combs, Lisa L. Combs, Dione Y. (Albert) Maupin; uncles, Harry (Kathy) Williams, Gerald M. (Nelda) Combs, Charles E. (Michelle) Combs; special cousins, Neokia Harris, Teokia Harris, Phillip Harris, and Charles George; close friends, Renota Durrah and Corwin Lindsay, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
