Mr. Wayne Morris "TwoTwo" Coleman II
July 10, 1974 - October 7, 2015
Wayne Morris Coleman II (“Two Two”) was the oldest of five children. He was born to Peggy Coleman Arnold and the late Wayne Coleman, Sr. on July 10, 1973 in Kansas City, Missouri. He returned to live in Lexington, KY where he attended Wesley Methodist Church and sang in the Children’s choir. He was called home from this life on October 7, 2015. He graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and received his Bachelors Degree from Northern Kentucky University in Information Systems. He was a dedicated and loyal employee at Bakery Crafts until he was called home. He was an avid sports fan with a “deep passion” for all things Louisville Cardinal. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Through life’s sunshine there is a plethora of close friendships that formed over many years, a great brotherhood that could never be broken which includes and is not limited to his friendships with Mike Bellew, Richard Combs, George Willis, Steve Willis, and a host of others that held a special place in his heart. He is preceded in death by his father Wayne Coleman Sr.; grandparents Robert Coleman, Robert Johnson, and Lizette Wess Coleman; uncle, Robert Johnson Jr.; aunt Anita Coleman; beloved cousins Robert (Bobby) Powell, Jr. and Kenneth Coleman. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Peggy Coleman Arnold; stepfather, Larry Charles Arnold, Sr.; the love of his life, Tona Sims; his siblings, Corisa (James)Logan, Andra Mitchell, Larry Arnold Jr., and Samuel Johnson; his children, Jordan Sims, Jelani Sims, Jada Sims, Isaiah Sims; his beloved grandchild, Jordan Sims II; nieces and nephews, Solomon Logan, Oshiara Logan, Cyreis Bright, Iyanna Ross, and Tiara Arnold; maternal grandmother, Jeralene Curtis Johnson; ten aunts, Betty(John)Harris, Carmen (Ananias) Calvin, Carolyn Steed, Bobbie Lawson, Doralethea (Charles) Rogers, Tommie Caulder, Charity (Warfield) Hill, Jeralene (James) Greenlee, Jannifer Price, and Dedra (Robert) Williams; three uncles, Robert Coleman, Ronald Johnson, Roger Johnson; great aunt, Alice Curtis and a host of cousins and of greatly respected comrades.
