Ms. Patricia Ann White Bledsoe

Patricia Ann White Bledsoe was born on March 6, 1948 to the late James R. and Jane B. White. She went to be with her Heavenly father on August 29, 2017 at Central Baptist Hospital. She was known as Pat and affectionately called “MeMe” by many whose lives she touched. At an early age, Pat accepted Christ, and was baptize at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where she remained active until her health failed. As a faithful member, she served as church clerk, a Trustee, Sunday School Teacher, choir member, Pastor’s Aide, Senior’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and the Mattie Simpson Missionary Group. Pat had a kind and gentle spirit and was always generous with her time and talents. She never stopped giving back. Pat was a graduate of Bryan Station High School, and attended Kentucky State College, Frankfort, Ky. She met many people during her many years of work in banking. She retired from the Bank of the Bluegrass. Pat will be sorely missed and so fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. She leaves to cherish her memory two loving daughters, Teelisha (Jonathon) Higgins and Tracie Bledsoe; a sister, Laura (Rev. Daniel) Childs; brother, James “J.R.” (Brenda) White; two grandsons, Christian J. Higgins and Simon Peter Rawlings; granddaughter, Tessica Bledsoe; great-grandson, Anthony Sellers; the children she raised, Will (Jackie) Morris and Sha’Ron (Tony) Owes and their children, T.J. and Nya Owes, Louisville, KY; three nephews D.J. (Lynette) Childs, TX, Wendell (Phyllis) Childs, MI, DaMario White; four nieces Adrean (Kevin) Woolfolk, Kimberly White, Anesha White, Jasmyne White, several great nieces and nephews; an aunt, Alice B. Jackson; an uncle, Leonard Woods; special friends Alice (Gregory) Brent, Linda Kirk, Tina Warren, William and Lorraine Patton, John Bledsoe, and a host of cousins, friends, and her loving pet Bella Marie.
