Ms Nancy Ellen Smith

March 12, 1956 - February 1, 2022

Nancy E. Smith aka “KATE” was born on Marches,12,1956 in Jackson TN but resisted in Lexington KY most of her life. Shoe wash the daughter of the late Connie Smith (father and Temple Cook (mother). Nancy departed this life February’s,2022 after suffering from an illness. Nancy received her G.E.D. At Black and Williams Community Center in 1996. She became the neighborhood mother, grandmother, Aunt, friend and supporter to many throughout the years. Nancy had a heart of gold and there was nothing that she would not do for anybody. She would babysit, feed you, support you financially, raise children that did not belong not her: but in her heart they did. Most of all she would entertain you with card games and dominos. She was a True sweetheart. Nancy is proceeded in death by father Conie Smith, her mother Temple Cook, and her beloved son Ronnie Smith, aka “White O”. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Shalonda, Faye (Dawan) Mulzim, Angela Denise (Gary) Hudson and Sarah Clay Smith. One son Walker Robert Smith. She also leaves four special sons that she called her own. Juan Roberts, Robert Knowles, Rodney Johnson, and Gary James. Eight grandchildren; Quincinio D. (Makenya) Canada, Quanteze D. Canada, Je’son L. Canada, CadenN. Allen, Alexiyana R. Mack, Sayniah J. Patterson, Eng’land S. Steele and Chance W. Smith. A host of friends, nieces, nephews and grandchildren raised with her love.
