Jordan D. Hurt was born in Lexington, Kentucky to Terry W. (Nicole) Hurt and Kimberly (Derrick) Hopson-Williams on December 3, 1993. He passed away on May 23, 2020; a day to always remember. Jordan was educated in the Fayette County Public School system where he attended Henry Clay High School. He was an avid basketball player who started for the Blue Devils. Jordan enjoyed music and had a love for all sports. He was the life of the party and put a smile on everyone’s face. At an early age, Jordan accepted Christ at Imani Baptist Church where he was a member throughout his life.. Jordan was the sunshine when he entered a room and loved by all he encountered. He will truly be missed. He is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Kenneth Hopson; along with his paternal great-grandparents, Jordan and Jestine Wilford. Besides his parents, he will be lovingly missed by his son, Jayce D. Hurt, whom he cherished dearly. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Lillie Mae Hurt, Rufus (Barbara) Hurt, and Annie Kirby; his beloved siblings, Tyesha Bailey, Courtney Williams, Derrick Williams II, JaéVon Hurt, and Terhyi Hurt; nieces and nephews, Tyiona Burnett Bailey, Lamar Burnett Bailey, Tyliah Grant, Derrius Williams, Kyelin Williams, and Jayda Williams; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends will all truly miss Jordan D. Hurt.
