Ms Jane Marie Bolden

We pause today to celebrate the home going of Jane Marie Bolden, also known as “Jackie” to many of her family and friends. Jane was born on June 23,1943 to Ms. Essie Lee Bolden and the late David Bolden, in Carbondale, West Virginia. Jane later moved to New Jersey in 1959 where she graduated from Red Bank High school. Jane avidly invested into her family, community, and her career. She would not hesitate to help a family member in need. She also would gather several of her nieces and nephews and take them on vacation year after year. Jane was on the development board in Long Branch, New Jersey where she assisted with equal opportunity housing for residents. Jane donated her time and finances to assist churches in Long Branch, Red Bank and Lexington, Kentucky where she most recently resided. Jane took full advantage of every opportunity in her career. From starting out as a key puncher to working her way up at AT&T/Lucent Technology to become a supervisor over the mailroom, and reprographics department. Through her hard work Jane received many accolades throughout her career. Jane was a self proclaimed carpenter, electrician, photographer, landscaper and doctor. If it had to get done, Jane would do it. Jane attended Pilgrim Baptist Church in Red Bank, New Jersey under Rev. Morgan then became a member of the Power of Christ Gospel Ministries in Long Branch, New Jersey where she gave her life to the Lord under Bishop Jacob and Gloria James. When Jane moved to Lexington in 2004, she became a member of Bethel Harvest Church in Nicholasville, under Pastor Marion Dalton. Besides her father, Jane was preceded in death by her daughter, Rose Cecelia Osborne; and two brothers, Dennis Bolden and David T. Bolden She leaves to cherish her memory, a very devoted Mother Essie Bolden; her surviving child, Michael David Dior Bolden; a sister, Gwendolyn Clark; three brothers, Terry (Liz) Bolden, Robert (Carmel) Bolden, and James Bolden; four grandchildren Kyle, Kirby, Kaleb and Khristian; and several generations of nieces and nephews,and
