Felix G. Williams Jr. was born in Lexington, Kentucky on July 7, 1926 to the late Fannie Mae Farrow and Felix G. Williams Sr. He attended Dunbar High School, where he was a member of the varsity basketball and football teams. As a member of the Historic Pleasant Green Baptist Church his whole life he accepted Christ at a young age.
