Darryl Louis Garrett was born March 28th, 1960, in Georgetown KY, to the parents of Mary Betty Thomas and Charles Lee Thomas. He departed this life on Sunday, March 20th, 2022. To know Darryl was to love Darryl. He had heart of gold and was willing to help anyone in need. To say he was the life the party would be an under statement. Darryl was the type of person to listen to any type of music and dance even if he was the only one in the room. He loved his family with his whole heart and wouldn’t let anyone forget it. He loved to work with his hands and could make beautiful pieces of art with anything he could find including sticks off the ground that he would make his famous “canes” with. Darryl was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Anna Bell “mamma” Martin and John Carey Garrett. His paternal grandparents; Leanna “Big Mama” Jackson and Charles R. Thomas. And his father Charles Lee Thomas. Besides his mother, Mary, Darryl leaves to cherish his memory his only sister, Carla Thomas, brothers ; Todd (Tiffaney Wills) Thomas and Ian McIntyre. Nieces; KatherineThomas, Carrie (Jonathan) Russell, Jessica Thomas, and Taylor Thomas. Nephews; Todd Shawn Thomas, and Landon Thomas. Great nieces; Autumn and Aubrey Russell. Great nephews; Austin Russell, Tayen and Mayjor Thomas, and his birthday twin Rainen Johnson. And special daughter; Margaret Coubert. And many others relatives cousins, and friends.
