Caroline “Bonnie” Divine Garbuyr was born on September 2, 1950 to the late Aline Brown and Frank C. Garbuyr. She was a member of the Historic Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church. Bonnie was considered one of the great home chefs in the city. Many times, she would host outside events and Sunday dinner gatherings for friends and family. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by a sister, Nannie Mae Worthington. Bonnie leaves to cherish her memory, the love of her life, Fred Hanley; eight siblings, Kay (Dudley) Bell, Jr., Pauline Gunn, Frank “Cisco” (Mary Margaret) Brown, Wasim(Cecelia) Muhammad, Taslima Abdullah, James (Kathy) Moore, Donna Marie Brown, and Donald (Vicky) Brown; one uncle, Eugene Brown; two aunts, Emma Moore and Pearline Brown; a great number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephew, great-great nieces and great-great nephew, many cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
