Calvin Underwood 81, was born July 24, 1941 to Howard Sr. and Catherine Underwood of Lexington, KY. Calvin was a graduate of the old Douglass High School where he was an active basketball player and member of the band. He was an avid UK basketball fan. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sons, Eric D. Underwood aka Raphael Israel, and Karl Y. Underwood. SiblingsKay Yates, , Herbert, Ralph, Howard,Willie Jean, Betty, Lorraine and Mildred Underwood. He is survived by his wife, Barbara S. Underwood, 2 daughters; Tracy L. Crumbie and Tonya R. Underwood. 4 grand-daughters, Amber, Hallie, Taylor Crumbie, and Sydney B. Wilson. 2 great grandchildren; Karter M. Hardin, and Karleigh S. Crumbie. Calvin is also survived by his siblings, Demaris (Leroy) Goldston, Leon (Bettye) Underwood, Marian Wilson, and Joan Price.
